MARN is a proud member of MANA, with Marnee currently serving a term on their board of directors. MANA, the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association, is an organization that facilitates stronger manufacturer/agent relationships. Educating global and national businesses, industry, and government, MANA promotes the importance of maintaining the integrity that defines a successful relationship between manufacturers and their agents.

NETAAC

MARN assists clients in facilitating an introduction to NETAAC (the New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center). NETAAC was formed to aid New England manufacturers that have been negatively impacted by import trade. Qualifying businesses receive financial assistance through a cost-sharing model that helps to fund business-building consulting projects. These projects can include marketing and positioning initiatives, e-commerce, lean manufacturing implementation, and ISO compliance and registration initiatives. Grant Funding is provided to NETAAC by the U.S. Economic Development Administration, under the Department of Commerce, through the national Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) for Firms program.

Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce

MARN is a proud member of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce—a proactive organization that lives by its motto, “Advancing the Regional Agenda through Business Leadership.” The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce represents the All-America City business community of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton and the surrounding area. The Chamber is currently comprised of approximately 600 members, which encompasses a cross-section of our area’s businesses with representation from manufacturing, retail, service, bio-tech, and corporate businesses.

MARN is a proud member of the Smaller Manufacturers Association of Connecticut. Also known as SMA, it was incorporated in 1949 as an organization that served to promote the cause of smaller manufacturing firms in all facets of their business organizations.
